First, I hope you're all well and staying safe.
Second, I want to give a "heads up" that you should see more activity here shortly, and maybe a few cosmetic changes.
I'll post more details to the "Announcements" forum soon, so be on the lookout. -E

    Default Object / Rule creation

    Hi Guy's

I need to created about 3000 rules (incl many NAT rules) on a Solaris Checkpoint R65. Any idea how I can do this in an easy way? It's for stresstest purposes. So the content of the rules are not important.

Script? a good Tool? Something like that?
    All suggestions are welcome.

Step 1. Install the firewall in a complex environment.

Step 2. Hire lots of firewall administrators, make sure they're inexperienced, and let them all use the same administrator login.

Step 3. Threaten them with termination for any service interruptions.

Step 4. Underpay them, so they keep quitting after six months.

Step 5. You'll have 3,000 firewall rules in no time!

    Glad to be of help.
