    Default VPN Statically NATted IP

    HI community,

I am wondering if there is more documentation about this option.

We have VPN setup and it is currently using the Main address as the the VPN gate way IP.

We now want to change it to "Statically NATted IP" and it doesn't work.

All we get from troubleshooting is unknown peer

Let's say you have gateway A (with only private addresses) which goes through gateway B, which NATs A's private address to a public address. That option exists to let you form a VPN straight from A to gateway X, over the Internet without the intervening gateways being involved.

Is that what you're trying to do?
