    This is what happens when you get a terrible idea and want to see it through.

    FortiGate-VM64-KVM # execute ping 8.8.8.8
    PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes

    64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=115 time=14.8 ms
    64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=2 ttl=115 time=11.9 ms
    64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=3 ttl=115 time=28.2 ms
    64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=4 ttl=115 time=27.0 ms

    round-trip min/avg/max = 11.9/20.2/28.2 ms

    So a Fortinet VM inside a PAN VM inside a Check Point box? Please tell me that's also a VM on something weird.

    Is GNS3 weird? Its all running out of there.

    Eh. GNS3 is only mildly weird. I was hoping for something like an x86 emulator on a Raspberry Pi emulated by an UltraSPARC. ;p
