    FYI Devin@spikefishsolutions.com did a nice update on our kali howto. Technically you can use this method to install anything Debian based.

    To be clear, this is just a chroot, right? It's running the same instance of the same kernel, not a full hardware VM?

    Correct you're just starting a new process under a chroot. Its basically old school container if you will.

    BTW that being said.. the kernels all have KVM support built in if i recall.

    Considering Docker is STILL based on chroot (just with cgroups added), it's a new-school container, too!

    I wish GAiA had been based on IPSO instead of SecurePlatform. Then we could have ZFS, proper jails, and maybe even DTrace.
