Default Any recommendations for dual 10GBASE-T adapters?

    Hi,

We're planning to renew our open servers and upgrade to R80.10 (from R77.30) this year, so I was wondering whether you could share any good/bad experience with dual 10GBASE-T adapters. We expect to utilize 2-3 dual adapters per cluster member.

    Thank you in advance.

First of all, it needs to be supported by Check Point. So you want to consult the relevant compatibility list at https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/hcl/

Generally speaking I tend to stick to Intel NIC's ( that are on the HCL ) unless using HP Servers as HP will only support HP NICs in there Servers, so now Check Point only do HP NIC in HP Servers as well.

If you are using HP then stick to the Intel Chipset ones and avoid the Broadcom based NIC's.

    Can't go wrong with Intel.
