Default Installation failed. Reason: Load on Module failed - problem with the Commit Function

    Hi,

We are running a 13500 cluster with R77.30 and get this error when installing the policy, If I try again after it fails the installation goes through without a problem.

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_current
    31G 7.9G 22G 27% /
    /dev/md0 145M 138M 0 100% /boot
    tmpfs 16G 0 16G 0% /dev/shm
    /dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_log
    146G 5.9G 132G 5% /var/log
total used free shared buffers cached
    Mem: 32010 14378 17632 0 1091 6857
    -/+ buffers/cache: 6429 25581
    Swap: 18449 0 18449

Doesn't seem to be an resource issue which every post I've found on similar issues suggest.

Anyone got an idea what the problem might be?

The only thing I see is full boot partition.
what about /var/log/messages? do you see any core files?
you can also take a look on sk105217 and 36645

Try running this on the firewall:

    fw d fetch <MGMT IP address>

That will attempt to fetch the current policy from the management server. It should help you find out what's wrong. The most significant complication is this involves talking to the SmartCenter, and it pulls down a new copy of the policy.

There is another debug which tries to load just the local policy the firewall already has. It involved the keyword "loadlocal" and you had to feed it the proper directory from $FWDIR/state, but I can't remember the exact command.
