SmartProvisioning to get firmware of all devices?

Hello Checkpoint Guru's,

I need your help :) I am trying to confirm the firmware that is on all 1430 devices we have deployed. I can see we have a large list that has an older version via the SmartPro interface but is there a way to export the list?

BTW, Any "Smart" tools to push the FW to these devices?

Someone created a script on CheckMates to get a list of gateways and their installed code versions.
It's not specific to the 1430 but should work: https://community.checkpoint.com/mes...eway-inventory

Hi

You can deploy a firmware on all of your 1430 objects (or any other SMB gateway) using SmartProvisioing Provisioning profiles.
SmartProvisioning is available in R77.30 and will soon be available on R80.20 as well


This can be done in the following method:

1. Import the package using SmartUpdate - SmartUpdate->File->Packages-> If you've already downloaded the package select from file and browse to the package, alternatively you can select Download Center and download it directly to SmartUpdate
2. Define a new provisioning profile - SmartProvisioning->File->New->Provisioning Profile
3. Select type 'Small Office Appliance' and finish the creation.
4. Edit your new profile - Under Firmware select 'Manage firmware settings centrally from this application'.
Now you will be able to select a new firmware image for your devices.
5. You'll have to enable provisioning on all of your devices and attach them to the profile
SmartProvisioning->Devices-> for each device, edit the device and check 'Enable Provisioning' and select the provisioning profile you created.

After this all of the devices will fetch the new firmware and install it independently, so make sure to make this change only when you are ready.
