I'd like to thank everyone involved for making "The CPUG Challenge" a great success.
We helped a lot of people see and learn a bit more about R80.10, while having some fun.
We will be using this success to try and bring more events to more locations soon. -E

    Default Check Point debugging GUI

    Hello,
I would like to present you a new tool for Check Point debugging purposes. This is a GUI that makes simple process to collect logs from Check Point devices.
    INSTALLATION:
Copy and extract CP Debugger folder on your computer. Path on it must be without spaces.
    Windows version:

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5...S1DTDlSM3FPSm8

    Ubuntu x64 version:

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5...TJfLUdsRzE4Y3c

Then install openssh (path must be without spaces also)(Windows only). You can download it from sourceforge or here:

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5...281SWlVLXA4dU0

Then you need to create HOME environment variable with path to OPENSSH bin directory (for example C:\OpenSSH\bin) (Windows only) .

Then need to copy sshpass and place files to OpenSSH bin directory (Windows only):

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5...TdnNWZRdENlY1E

    USING

You can check flags with parameters that you need:

You also can use SCP to download debugging files and uncompress it locally. You also can export debug parameters and simply import them.

Was this developed by CP TAC? Who's behind this?

Did you make this tool a long time ago? It seem interesting but really i wouldn't be cool with running this. Maybe if it was in a language used an interrupter like python or perl or something so that you could see the source code. github repo for source would be nice as well.

Just wondering, why vxWidgets vs windows forms for a windows program?

Ah, no new debug modules for R80.10, as I see :-)

Just my 10 cents for the matter. In my view, only experts should be allowed to debug in the first place. And if it is an expert going to debug, why does he need to have a GUI? He should be able to do all from CLI anyway.

I appreciate the effort, I really do :-)
