Tim Hall has done it again! He has just released the 2nd edition of "Max Power".
Rather than get into details here, I urge you to check out this announcement post.
It's a massive upgrade, and well worth checking out. -E

Default Clish- Is it possible to make multiple commands on the same line?

Is it possible to put more than one clish command on a single line?
Something like: show hostname ; show date

Example in UNIX: echo "Pete" ; ls -al
Example in DOS: echo blah && dir

    Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, this is not supported.
What's the reason you're trying to do this?

If you are trying to execute two separate clish commands and have them take effect at the same time as opposed to taking effect independently, you can use the "start transaction" and "commit" commands like this:

    start transaction
    command 1
    command 2
    etc...
    commit

All the clish commands typed after the start statement will not take effect until the commit command is issued.
