SDP/SDN Integration and Interoperability with Juniper and others

We are currently in the process of strategically planning the future of our corporate network (3-5 years out). We have some more immediate CapExes in the works for switching and wireless gear and want to try to best set ourselves up for the future of SDN. We currently use Juniper Switches/Routers (which are great) and Checkpoint firewalls/endpoint (which are also great). Unfortunately, on paper it doesn’t look like the future SDN integration capabilities between these two are great (e.g. Juniper is not listed here https://www.checkpoint.com/partners/opsec/ and Checkpoint not listed here http://www.juniper.net/us/en/partner...nces/security/). Is anybody currently integrating SDP with Juniper and what limitations are there? Do you foresee a particular hardware vendor being great for this type of integration in the future (or present)?

You do not want to use OPSEC for anything close to SDN/SDS

R80.10 provides REST API and scripting that would fit to practically anything you want to do. Look into it

The reality is the technology to enable SDN is still rapidly evolving for all vendors, including Check Point.
Fundamentally, Check Point is a software company.
The full name of the company is "Check Point Software Technologies" :)
A lot of the thinking around the design of R80 has been better enabling use cases like SDN.

Specific to your question, Check Point has been working with Juniper on SDN.
