Just saw the linkedin post by Moti Sagey that Barry passed away.
Sad news and I am sure he will be remembered, especially by this community as the founder of it.
May he rest in peace

Yes, I have heard as well. I was waiting until I had more details before posting here, but there's very little concrete info.
For now, I'll leave it at this:
Barry, thanks for everything you did (which is quite a lot) to create, grow, and continue CPUG for over 13 years. I hope you look down at it with pride. Godspeed.

Rest in peace and love :(

There were some ups & downs over the years, but his work getting this board established brought us together.
Hope his family is OK.

Barry and I definitely had our differences over the years--sometimes quite publicly--but there was definitely mutual respect.
I first heard about his passing on Monday morning from a mutual acquaintance, who could offer no details.
Palo Alto Networks noted his passing at their Ignite conference on Tuesday (basically their version of CPX).
I saw the slide on Twitter and shared it with Eric and Moti.
I wish I knew more, but that's all I know.
