** Announcing the #CPUGchallenge **

I'm very happy to announce that CPUG will be hosting "The CPUG Challenge" during CPX this year.
It promises to be a fun and interesting event that will test (and maybe even expand) your knowledge of Check Point.
Whether or not you plan to attend CPX, we have something for you. Please check out this post or the CPUGchallenge.com web site for more information. -E

Default Convert externally managed Check Point gateway to internally

Is there a way to convert an "Externally Managed Check Point Gateway" to a "Check Point Gateway", meaning internally managed by my SmartCenter.
    Maybe using guidbedit?

Suppose you make it through dbedit, it is worth the hassle? I'd keep it simple and recreate it then install the policy.

I tend to agree with this approach: just recreate the object.

Creating a Security Gateway object with dbedit from scratch is painful enough.
Modifying an existing object to be a Security Gateway object may not even be possible.
Even if it is, it will be an order of magnitude more difficult than simply recreating the object.

I think you need to create new gateway object and than give the SIC. When you created new gw object and trusted established between management server, you can get topology and topology configuraton(anti-spoofing). When you succeded configuration, you can enable licensed blade. Do not forget, to replace the old object on rule base with new object.
