Change VSX GW Change IP address

I am trying to change the IP address of VSX ClusterXL Object and replaced the old IP address with new IP address in objects_5_0.C(/opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf) file.Is it right way to change the object IP address or its need to be done via DBEDIT Tool

Are you trying to change the VSX gateways management IP?
If so, follow the procedure in sk92425, "How to change the Management IP addresses assigned to VSX cluster and VSX cluster members in Gaia CLISH"

You cannot manipulate with any of VSX objects through DBedit. Use vsx_util instead for any kind of modifications. Look into VSX admin guide for available options. It seems you may need vsx_util chane_mgmt_ip or vsx_util change_mgmt_subnet, depending on the particular goal you want to achieve.
