    Default Details About VSX Internal IP subnet

    Anyone , have any Good Article on the VSX Internal IP Address info , it is very Difficult to Troubleshoot in VSX Related to IP connectivity , as when we trace the any external it will shows the internal IP rather than manually assigned IP , is there any good Approach in VSX Troubleshooting .. how the internal IP MAP with virtual system etc ..

    any Advanced white paper on VSX ?

    Just do not use traceroute to see how you traverse VSX entity. Run fw monitor on it instead with a particular filter. To answer your question, there is no check point article about this. The use of "funny IP" is complex. It takes me about 2 hours to explain how it works on my VSX course.

    You can use following commands to collect the information.

    fw getifs : it will give you the funny ip address(internal communication IP address) details on your virtual system interface
    ifconfig : it will give you cluster virtual IP address details on your VS.
    ip route : it will give you the how routing is working within VS via scope link.
