    Default New spikefish blog post!

The latest is a open letter to Check Point describing how after 90 days I still can't get app control going on a 1200R with offline updates.

App control + Scada + offline updates = sad trombone

Well, only if you've opened up your case to trouble shoot some issue. :)

As I noted on LinkedIn and someone else from Check Point commented directly on your blog, Private ThreatCloud is designed to solve this issue.
It requires a Smart-1 appliance, an additional purchase, and has some limitations, as documented in sk110394.

star vpn with center gateway as hub

This post shows how to setup a Check Point as a hub for two satellite interoperability devices with one os the outside and one on the inside using VPN Routing.

This post includes lots of debugs and backups of everything in addition.

Whats that? You've always wanted to install Debian on a arm based Checkpoint Gaia Embedded device? (600/1100/700/1400) on a MicroSD card?? Why me too!

How to install Debian on Gaia Embedded!

Now you can pretty much compile whatever you want. Granted you could do that with any cross compiler but this way is a bit easier I think.

Howdy all! Another blog post on installing Linux on a SMB device. Also a little tidbit about getting a linux file system on a SD card.

Installing Kali Linux on checkpoint 750

This time i'm covering what I think is an easier method to install a Debian based OS. There will be a 2nd posting following this that covers an interesting use case for doing so.

    Night all!

In this write up I show how to create a 2 factor login system for remote access users using Google's OTP pam module.

I love that checkpoint exposes the root shell on these devices.
