** Announcing the #CPUGchallenge **

I'm very happy to announce that CPUG will be hosting "The CPUG Challenge" during CPX this year.
It promises to be a fun and interesting event that will test (and maybe even expand) your knowledge of R80.10.
Whether or not you plan to attend CPX, we have something for you. Please check out this post or the CPUGchallenge.com web site for more information. -E

    cpconfig

if you see GUI clients then its standalone.

    cpprod_util CPPROD_GetKeyValues products 0

that should be a less interactive way. I think if it shows Management and firewall then its standalone.

i'm assuming you already know if the firewall blade is installed or not.

    FW-NIWS1[admin]# cpprod_util CPPROD_GetKeyValues products 0
    FW1
    UAG
    VSXCMP
    V40CMP
    NGXCMP
    CPinfo

Still not sure if its standalone or distributed - any clues?

    Thanks
    Kevin

    Well that wasn't super helpful.

Try cpconfig and look for gui clients.

I don't see any GUI clients - here is a screenshot

    Configuration Options:
    ----------------------
    (1) Licenses and contracts
    (2) SNMP Extension
    (3) Group Permissions
    (4) PKCS#11 Token
    (5) Random Pool
    (6) Secure Internal Communication
    (7) Enable cluster membership for this gateway
    (8) Disable Check Point SecureXL
    (9) Configure Check Point CoreXL
    (10) Automatic start of Check Point Products

    (11) Exit

That system is only a security gateway, you have a distributed setup with a separate management server elsewhere.
