    Default Virtual System Interface not showing on NMS

    Hi,

    We have Checkpoint 12200 VSX in cluster with two virtual system configured. VS1 and VS2.
    For getting Interfaces of virtual system in NMS (Solarwind), we have configured SNMP in VS mode.In snmplwalk output interface are showing, but not showing in NMS.
    Below is output on checkpoint.

    Expert@PJT-EXT-FW-2:0]# snmpwalk -v3 -n ctxname_vsid1 -l authNoPriv -u manager -A Auth@123 10.6.2.212 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.3 = STRING: eth1
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.9 = STRING: eth2
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.19 = STRING: lo1
    [Expert@PJT-EXT-FW-2:0]# snmpwalk -v3 -n ctxname_vsid2 -l authNoPriv -u manager -A Auth@123 10.6.2.212 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.2 = STRING: eth5
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.6 = STRING: eth6
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.15 = STRING: eth3
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.17 = STRING: eth4
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.18 = STRING: lo2
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.28 = STRING: pimreg2

    [Expert@PJT-EXT-FW-2:0]# snmpwalk -v3 -l authNoPriv -u manager -A Auth@123 10.6.2.212 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.1 = STRING: lo
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.4 = STRING: eth1-05
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.5 = STRING: eth1-06
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.7 = STRING: eth1-07
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.8 = STRING: eth1-08
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.10 = STRING: eth1-01
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.11 = STRING: eth1-02
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.12 = STRING: eth7
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.13 = STRING: eth1-03
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.14 = STRING: eth1-04
    IF-MIB::ifDescr.16 = STRING: Mgmt

    Only VS0 interface are showing in NMS i.e Mgmt,eth7 and eth1-01 to eth1-08

    (Note: Also same issue another NMS i.e. PRTG)
    What could be the issue?

    Thanx

    We are experiencing the same issue and looking to get our Virtual Systems interfaces monitored via Solarwinds.

    Sorry but it seems like you are missing the context name (-n ctxname_vsid[xxx])

    [Expert@PJT-EXT-FW-2:0]# snmpwalk -v3 -l authNoPriv -u manager -A Auth@123 10.6.2.212 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2

    Hi, the observed behaviour is normal.

    You need to enable VSX mode for SNMP. Without that SNMP only monitors VS0. Look into sk106126 for more details
