Default private key for a csr generated via smartdashboard

I have generated a CSR for a thirdparty ssl certificate via smartdashboard. I want to use this newly added certificate to be used by platform portal also. but import button asks for a .p12 file. To convert the .crt into .p12 i need private key file, where can i find that private key file.

    best regards

    Are you following sk69660?

Stage one generates a CSR and private key.

Nice follow up here. I read this question days ago but had no clue where to start.

Opera, what's the end use of this certificate?

i will be using this certificate for platform portal and VPN clients. I followed this article to generate the CSR (https://www.digicert.com/csr-creatio...kpoint-vpn.htm). But now to convert to a .p12 file i need private key and i have no clue where i can find that private key.

Your looking at the IPsec VPN tab under the cluster/gateway object correct?

Are you planning on using the Mobile Access Blade? Maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that IPSec VPN section is a legacy feature or maybe not completely legacy but for IPSEC point to point tunnels using certificate auth and that most of that functionality for clients is in the Mobile Access Blade (MAB) section (like importing a cert).

I think you want to be using the Mobile Access Blade feature and following the SK I posted earlier.
