    Default HTTPS Certificate

    Hi,

How can I generate a self signed certificate once I have already imported a CA Certificate for HTTPS inspection.

Basically, I have imported the wrong certificate and now need to generate a self signed certificate for https inspection.

The problem being where you would normally generate a self signed certificate now shows the CA cert without the option to create a self signed certificate.

In the properties of the gateway under HTTTPS inspection is where you would normally create the self signed cert but it now displays the installed ca certificate.

    We have a 2200 appliance running R77.10

How do I now go about generating a self signed cert ?

    Thanks

    Pauil

Found this in 30 seconds in Check Point Knowledgebase

You basically have to delete the existing Cert using the GuiDBEdit Tool. This then allows you to generate a new CA Certificate.
