    Default Crossbeam X40 CPM8100 XOS

Crossbeam X40 loaded with one CPM8100 and one APM8200 (There is an NPM too, don't have model information on hand). Currenty loaded with version 7.x.x of the XOS.

Wondering whats the highest version of XOS this CPM supports. I can't seem to find a lot of information on the CPM8100 and older versions of the XOS.

I can see that V9.0 is not supported on this CPM.

To my knowledge 8.1.4.0 is the last version that supports CPM8100.

You'll find more information in the release notes of both XOS 8.1.4.0 and 8.5.2.0 (chassis dependencies and so on).

I don't have a support contract of any form for this box. I'm aiming to use this box completely for lab purposes.

I can't seem to access these release notes. Are they only in the customer login portal?

Also, is there any way to access updates on the website without a login?

Some years ago, they usually allowed people with a certification have a login to the download system, even if they were not in a support contract.
For people that only has a box, without any contract, I do not know.

I do not know their current policies, but you can try emailing some of the contacts on their website and ask.
