Default "enrollment failed" message in iphone "Checkpoint mobile" application

    Hi all.

I,m triying to connect from iphone 4G to Checkpoint R71.30 Gateway mobile access. I've followed all the steps indicated in Checkpoing
    documentation:

    - I`m working with demo license.
    - Set up the gateway (I can connect from windows machine browser via https)
    - Enable support for iPhone and iPad on the gateway (cvpnd_settings set MobileAppAllowed "true")
    - Initialized Client Certificate (pending status)

But when I try the connection I get the "enrollment failed" and canīt continue with the validation proccess.

    Any Suggestions?

    Best regards

I just resolved this same issue this morning on SecurePlatform. It seems that the command cvpnd_settings set mobileAppAllowed "true" is updating a different file then the one being read when the service starts.

    cd $CVPNDIR/conf
    vi cvpnd.C
near the bottom of the file you need to modify the following line from:
    :MobileAppAllowed (false)
    to
    :MobileAppAllowed (true)
    save and quit.

do a restart on the service.
    cvpnrestart

We were able to connect as soon as we completed this. Of course you will need to make sure your user certificate state is still pending.

We identified that the "MobileAppAllowed" is case sensitive and was causing the problem. That is why editing the file manually worked for us. Now we can manipulate the value correctly using the cvpnd_settings command if we type the option with the correct upper/lower case values.

    make sure you're using R75.10 - iDevices aren't supported until R75.10 (or R71.30 i believe)
