    Default Passed Accelerated CCSE R71 156-915.71

    Passed with 80%, 110 questions and 140 minutes (since I live in a non english speaking country ;)

    What I did to prepare:
    Worked with Check Point products for 10 years ;)
    Read the R70 CCSE courseware (Thanks to Lotta)
    Read the R71 pdf's for IPS, SmartWorkflow, VPN (Route Based VPN), Advances routing, SSL VPN, SmartEvent, DLP, PerformancePack, SmartReporter
    Downloaded and went through all the Practice exams available from Check Point (real exam questions)

    Actually I think that the quality of the exam questions have improved. Not that much twisting of words any more but some times you need to think "The Check Point Way". I failed miserably on the SSL VPN section (36%) but I guess it's because lack of experience.

    Thanks for the heads up.
    I wanna take the exam within the next few weeks.
    Am using the R70 books, the R70 Upgrade syllabus.

    Does anyone know how much this exam differs from the R70 upgrade exam?

    Thanks a lot, I just cleared CCSA R70 last week via Course ware. Now planning to apply for CCSE R70 course ware. How long did it take for you to get the book delivered? Is the site reliable, because I have heard from people that it times out while ordering online.

    Just passed this exam myself today; 72%, not great but there you go.

    Used practise exams (both R70 and R71), R70 courseware and lab, R71 admin guides, and plenty of Demo Mode R71.
