    Default vpn for star network

    Hello,
    I want to create a VPN over a star network having a central Checkpoint and many peripheral.
    Can I use Safe@Office 500w can do VPN between a central site and more peripheral sites?
    The box VPN1-edge is able to do VPN between a central site and more peripheral sites?

    It all depends on how you want manage the Safe@Office or Edge devices. When you want them all to be manualy managed per item and build tunnels that way, just use the Safe@Office device,s. When you would prefer to fully controll them from the Smartcenter use the Edges.

    With Star topologies you can use quite some units towards a central firewall. When you want a Meshed setup be aware of the number of tunnels that will be built on every participating firewall.
    The older Edge devices start failing from around 7 participating firewalls and up. The newer ones (the N models) I don't know yet.
