Default Moving from R54 to R62

    Hi All

I have an old CP Cluster on Version R54 and a New Cluster on new hardware on version R62 , I'm looking for easier ways to migrate the rules than manually reconfiguring all the rules , nats and routes.

Can it be exported and re imported or any other ideas ?

Rules and NATs can be migrated with upgrade_export and upgrade_import, though I'm not sure that was available on R54.

For routes on SPLAT, use this code:

    Code:
    /bin/netstat -rn | /bin/grep ^[0-9] | /bin/awk '{printf "route add -net %-15s gw %-15s netmask %-18s # %s\n", $1, $2, $3, $8}' | /bin/sort -n -k6,6
    It should output something like:

    Code:
    route add -net 0.0.0.0 gw 192.1.0.1 netmask 0.0.0.0 # eth0
    route add -net 10.1.0.0 gw 0.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.0.0 # eth0
route add -net 127.0.0.0 gw 0.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 # lo
Ignore the ones with a gateway (gw) value of 0.0.0.0. Those are automatically added when you configure an interface. In this case you simply need to copy the top route and apply it. Since there's only one, apply it in the webui so it is saved on reboot. If there are multiple routes to be added, simply enter all the routes (minus 1) from the CLI, and then enter the last route via the webui. This will save all the routes for you.

There is no option for upgrade_export or upgrade_import on R54

    Any other suggestions

    Thanks for the route script
