upgraded from R62 to R65 - smart center server

Hi all,

I have upgraded my smart center server from R62 to R65 NGX as R62 is end of support. Our environment has multiple gateways which we are planning to still run on R62.

My query is :
1: I will upgrade my license for smartcenter server from R62 to R65.
2. Do i need to upgrade new licenses for gateways also.
3. What is the procedure to upgrade licenses in this scenario ?

Since all your licenses will already be NGX licenses, I don't think you need to change them at all.

You can leave your gateways at R62 for the short term, but you need to plan to upgrade them too.

Answered in this thread already.

R60 through R65 can use the same licenses without upgrading. As such going from R62 to R65 requries you to do nothing with the licenses.

I have one more query:

Another query is, if we need to activate Smart directory features in Smart center server, do we need to activate/install any other product/components in Smart center server or if we just update the Smart directory licenses, it is fine and the features gets enabled?
