C10 and the R65 support

Hi Guys,

End of May 09 Check Point discontinues the Support for R62 and before. Our customer is running a C10 from Crossbeam and unfortunately the minimum of COS for R65 is 6.0.0 or higher. This is also not supported for the C10.

Does anyone of you tried to install Secure Plattform on a C10?

You'll loose any support and warranty from Crossbeam, I would imagine, but I think you can boot those from USB, which means you can stick a SPLAT CD in an external USB drive and install it.

Whether SPLAT R65/R70 has the drivers for the OS I do not know... but it'd be fun to try.

You might want to make a 'dd' image of the hard disk though, before you do so you can revert back.
