    Hi Blason,

    I have the same problem you had.
    Is there any relevant need of the content option which CP tries to enforce?
    Do I have specific content options or can I just add what I like to add? ...

    My Check Point partner told me there are several instabilities in Jumbo 216 that are already fixed in Jumbo 225.

    ...but I have no details.

    There is no problem with Splunk. The only issue is: Splunk is not available in my environment atm, but the Check Point Logserver is already there and has a lot of unused ressources. ;o)

    Hi all,

    regarding to my initial question there was some Kind of workaround in newer versions.
    Check Point added a new field in the export form where you can define the number of logs to export....

    as far as I know the syslog service is a single thread service.
    Does someone has experience how much logs/load the syslog service can handle?

    I found a nice TCPDUMP guide - think it's worth sharing it!

    Especially the "Heavy packet viewing" was new to me and saves a lot of time in exporting tracefiles to whireshark!
