Hello All,

Could any1 help on the below issue we are facing with our setup :

Recently we got our License + Contract renewed for our checkpoint boxes. ( Mgmt Box, Event Box and two FW configured in HA ). When i am checking the license and contract from CLI on my Mgmt box and FW boxes, i can see it states that the contract expires in 2016 but when i check the same on Smartview monitor it shows the contract to be expired.

Could any1 help/suggest me where could be issue.

Thanks in advance.

Only way to resolve this is by opening a case with Account services.

One thing you can try is to run, in expert mode, the command: contract_util mgmt
Check before and after what cplic print shows.
I have run into this issue to many times now.

Hello msjouw,

Thanks for your suggestion, I tried the same but could not resolve the issue. We have opened a case with checkpoint support and are waiting for there update on the same.
Will let you know with the solution from them.

Thanks again.

I've seen this too. It was fixed by Account Services last time. This time I appeared to fix it using sk100177.

Try this

Connect to command line on Security Management server (over SSH, or console).

2.Log in to Expert mode.

3.Stop Check Point services:
[Expert@HostName]# cpstop

4.Backup and remove the current cache files:
[Expert@HostName]# mkdir -v /var/log/GUI_cache_bkp
[Expert@HostName]# mv $FWDIR/conf/applications.C* /var/log/GUI_cache_bkp/
[Expert@HostName]# mv $FWDIR/conf/CPMILinksMgr.db* /var/log/GUI_cache_bkp/

5.Start Check Point services:
[Expert@HostName]# cpstart

6.Wait for 5-10 minutes for the cache to rebuild.

7.Connect with SmartDashboard to Security Management Server.
