We are experiencing an issue where with the Checkpoint VPN service started on Windows 8.1 Laptops our Service Desk cannot offer remote assistance to our users. There is no desktop policy that blocks this, the same VPN client is on Windows 7 and remote assistance works fine as well.

NOTE: These users are not connected over VPN, this is while both the user and SD is in the office. Remote assistance is not working unless the Checkpoint VPN service is stopped manually.

Has anyone experienced the problem and know if there is a fix?
