Security Benefit has an immediate opening for Enterprise Security Engineer in the Topeka, Kansas Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration of the organizations security and networking infrastructure. These duties include both the day-to-day administration and continual improvements (upgrades, tuning) to security platforms. A successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, energetic self-starter that can work independently and take ownership of the systems in their care. The candidate will have a good attention to detail and be able to effectively communicate their point-of-view.

Responsibilities
Firewall Administration Proficiency with Firewall Administration functions including Check Point configuration & troubleshooting
Security Infrastructure Support maintain and support all Security related infrastructure components (Netscaler ADC, RSA Authentication Manager, web filtering, email security, etc.)
IT Compliance Proficient with various regulatory compliance programs (SOX, GLBA, HIPAA) as well as familiarity with IT General Control methodologies
Change Control Proficient with common change control practices as they relate to both infrastructure and application change processes
Audit Interface Be able to serve as a department liaison to internal/external audit functions
IDS/IPS Administration Proficient with Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention tools. Review and respond to alerts in order to ensure continuing security of networks and systems. Maintain IDS/IPS configurations
Vulnerability Assessment Experience in a variety of vulnerability assessment tools in order to assess and address weaknesses in infrastructure and applications
Application Security Architecture/Design Knowledgeable about current practices around network and application security practices. Should be able to proficiently communicate with a cross-functional team in order to implement systems that are adequately secured

Preferred but not required:
CISSP,GIAC, CCSA or CCSE, CEH
