IBM currently (and routinely) has openings for candidates with strong Check Point experience in our managed security practice.

We currently have multiple openings for direct-hire full-time placement (candidates only, no recruiters). Openings range from Firewall/UTM/Policy management specialists to threat/event experts and many other niche positions, depending on where your interests and career interests lie.

Our ten operational Security Operations Centers are located in the following locations -- you should be near one of these cities, willing to move to one, or should otherwise be quite exceptional:

US: Atlanta, GA; Detroit, MI; Boulder, CO
Canada: Toronto, ON
LATAM: Hortolandia, Brazil
EMEA: Brussels, Belgium; Wroclaw, Poland
APAC: Tokyo, Japan; Brisbane, Australia; Bangalore, India

We are a large operation, so there are often openings for a variety of skill levels and departments. CCSE on R75 is typically a requirement. CCMSE, CCSE+ VSX experience, CCMA, and/or significant experience with network platforms, other security vendors, and MSSP operations can be significant positive attributes.

Our operation has a lot of flexibility, provides some of the best experience possible to ramp up your career with, and is full of some of the best people I have ever worked with. Even Check Point experts are going to learn some new things about Check Point in our shop. We also offer many opportunities to branch out into other vendors and technologies -- being with IBM is a good investment. Pay is competitive, and I feel the benefits are nothing short of astounding.

Please feel free to e-mail kive@kive.me if you have questions or if you'd like to start talking and see how good of a fit we might be for you.
