We are searching for Security Consultant for our client located in San Francisco, CA and we wanted to reach out to see if you may be interested!

Length: 9 month contract with a possibility of extension

Start: March 2012

Description:

The security consultant will assist the client throughout the project lifecycle. Critical activities, as guided by the client internal project, include but are not limited to:

Data Center migration. Monitor resources and activities related to migration of applications to the client Data centers.
Systems update / Patch management / TSR compliance Provide assurance that appropriate resources are allocated and operational activities are being managed and delivered to committed dates.
Vulnerability assessment Drive the solution design and implementation activities required to deliver adequate compensating controls prior to data center migrations.
Access controls - Drive the implementation of improved access controls across all PlaySpan Systems.
2-Factor authentication. Drive solution design and implementation activities required to implement solution.
Security Logging. Drive solution design and implementation activities required to implement a suitable short term solution.
Incident response. Embed Incident response process for PlaySpan
Security assessment Review and assess findings of third party security assessment and identify suitable compensating controls.
Provide expert advice and guidance on levels of risk with appropriate management reporting.
