Hello,

Does anybody have an idea about real throughput perfomance with FW/IPS blade ?
REM: old version (R65) was limited to 500 Mbps.

For example from PC<->VM or for VM <-> VM traffic flow ?
By the way, it seems that this version is able to check inter-VM traffic ? Is it correct ??
The old version was limited to inter-VSwitch traffic if I'm wrong...

Regards,

Hedi

Hello,

More important, is it using Fast Path or Slow Path ?
It seems there is a huge performance difference between both...

Hedi

In hypervisor mode it will inspect guest to guest traffic. Think of it as VE being bound to all ports on the virtual switches in layer 2 mode.

As for performance, I want to say it's 2Gbps guest-to-guest but don't hold me to that.

Hello,

First, thanks for your input.
But there's a huge performance difference between both mode.
