We have a Power-1 5070 cluster with R70.30 and IPS, pretty standard setup with no "fuzz".

It's been working great until this morning, at 6am the primary firewall froze/hanged and 2 hours later the secondary firewall did the same, causing an outage.

When I arrived at the scene I couldn't reach the firewalls via console, totally dead, and even the LED-display had hung (you know the triangle symbol that changes shape - not anymore..)

The log files doesn't say much, except for:
Sep 25 07:50:16 xxx kernel: [fw_1];FW-1: bpush: push block size error sz=100 at 0x1720a
Sep 25 07:50:42 xxx kernel: [fw_2];FW-1: bpush: push block size error sz=100 at 0x1720a
Sep 25 07:58:06 xxx kernel: [fw_0];FW-1: bpush: push block size error sz=8 at 0x1720a

Any ideas? I will initiate a case with checkpoint as well.

Thanks in advance.

1.Contact CP and get instraction how to activate a core for this status and or get any idea Why this happend.
2.Wait for next *freeze* and provide (if exist) core files or.. other information to CP..
3.Wait till CP will be able to replicate this issue..

Just use an Ilo Board on HP open Server Platform to restart a Freezed FW any time , without needs to go to affected FW.
