If you install CP on windows platform, you don't have ssh server. You need 3'd party soft. http://www.bitvise.com/winsshd.html - very very good server, imho. But it is not free. If you need free server - see at cygwin.

When I did this, I used cygwin. It's free if I'm not mistaken. It worked and I actually had a semi-bash shell to use. It was great. Always make sure there's a solid business case for installing it on Windows...ease of use is not an argument in my professional opinion.

http://pigtail.net/LRP/printsrv/cygwin-sshd.html- it's simple man about installing cygwin ssh on windows.

tell 'em this (or write it down): I need to remote manage the box securly. Also nice when you have to VPN in and dont have the bandwidth for a MS terminal session. I need to trasfer files securly. Transfering your AD credentials clear text when trying to FTP something is probably against your enterprise security policy anyways. |

:-) Actually, I meant there should be a very serious argument for putting your firewall on the Windows OS. It's really not a good choice for this purpose in my opinion and it certainly shouldn't be linked to the AD anyway. Please consider SPLAT as an alternative.
