I am looking for a guide to hardening windows 2003 server that doesn't break checkpoint from operating correctly.

Thanks.

Hi Guys,

I found something at Checkpoint. I have not attempted this yet, but in my experience with a guide for solaris from checkpoint didn't help very much. I would only try these on a test machine... You will need Secureknowledge advanced access. Hope this helps someone. enjoy!!!

The key to this process is: install the CheckPoint software first THEN harden. Hardening first is only for those who have done it so many times that they could write a script for it.

<Joke Alert>

Doesn't the process go simething like:
- Insert latest SPLAT CD into cup holder
- Reboot
- Install & Configure
- Run latest HFA
- Establish SIC
- Push rulebase

:-)

Sorry - couldn't help myself......
I'll get my coat........
