Hi Guys, I found something at Checkpoint. I have not attempted this yet, but in my experience with a guide for solaris from checkpoint didn't help very much. I would only try these on a test machine... You will need Secureknowledge advanced access. Hope this helps someone. enjoy!!! Solution ID: sk26458 Solution Title: Hardening Windows Server 2003 operating system Visit solution: https://secureknowledge.checkpoint.c....do?id=sk26458 For Disclaimer of Warranty and Copyright info: http://www.checkpoint.com/copyright.html

For those who have no Silver Level or CCSA here is the link - http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../s3sgch12.mspx

The key to this process is: install the CheckPoint software first THEN harden. Hardening first is only for those who have done it so many times that they could write a script for it.

<Joke Alert> Doesn't the process go simething like: - Insert latest SPLAT CD into cup holder - Reboot - Install & Configure - Run latest HFA - Establish SIC - Push rulebase :-) Sorry - couldn't help myself...... I'll get my coat........
