| Frankly I found the vpnd.elg output not very helpful at all. I found the ike.elg file, however, extremely helpful when troubleshooting vpn. This is especially true when you have vpn between Checkpoint and Cisco/Juniper. my 2c. |

| Yeah if you manage to get past all the IKE stuff, and need to look at vpnd.elg, you've got some really funky stuff going on. ike.elg BTW is created by the vpn debug ikeon command and is also a plain text file. There is a tool (ikeview) that CSP's have that can parse the file. If you ask your Check Point SE really nicely they might get you a copy (It is not suppose to be given to end-users for reasons I don't understand). |
