Default VPN traditional mode

Trying to setup a vpn in traditional mode to a PIX. Under the gateway--VPN -- traditional mode configuration -- preshared secrets My interoperable device isn't showing up as a Peer name. I have both selected as gateways in my VPN community. How do you get them to show up in the Shared Secrets List.

Default Re: VPN traditional mode

Sounds like the "Use only shared secret for all external members" checkbox is not checked in the community. Make sure it is checked it is on the shared secret tab in the community. Honestly i have not used traditional mode for about 3 years. Simplifed mode is much easier to manage, espically if you have alot of VPNs.
