site to site with two firewalls, one simplified and one traditional

I'm having problems trying to set the preshared key on a site to site VPN. The two firewalls are managed by the same management server. One side (nokia firewall) is set-up as traditional mode and the other side (SPLAT firewall) is set-up as simplifed. I can't set the preshared key on either side. Any idea's or pointers will be greatly appreciated.

If they are using the same management station, they won't use preshared keys for the VPN between them. They will use the certificate from the management station.
