Default Active Directory users Remote Access VPN

Hey everyone,

I am trying to setup a remote access vpn with users from ldap.
My steps are as follows

Apply Smart Directory License

Select SmartDirectory in Global Properties
Servers and Opsec -> Ldap Account Unit
LDAP Account Unit
General -> CRL Retrieval
User Management
Servers -> AD server defined
Objects Management -> Fetch Branches
Authentication -> Checkpoint Password
-> Users' Default Values -> Use User template

I utilize all these settings and the ldap accounts are retrieved successfully, however, I am unable to add these users to a group for remote access, (the option is also greyed)
And the Checkpoint group defined in the template is not shown the users groups.

Can anyonoe help as to where I should go from here.

You define LDAP Groups, not user groups for use with the Account Unit Users.

There is a document in the "resources" section of CPUG. It's old but still relevant
