Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I know about it. But this comparison is required for one of our customers, who is using version 4.1.

Do they want anything in particular compared. Honestly, comparing 4.1 to NGX is like comparing windows 3.1 and XP. There is so much that has changed it would be difficult to list everything.

In it's time (2000 ish) 4.1 was an excellent firewall and even was alright with VPN. 5 years later there has be so much change on the Internet that 4.1 doesn't do everything that newer versions do. This isn't to mention the bug fixes and vulnerabilities that have been fixed since 4.1.

If your customer can narrow down what they want compared or if they are wanting about something specific I can see what I can put together but for a full comparison... I don't have a week to write everything.
