Default Static Routing Question

Hi ppl,

I'd like to know when should I create static routes in Checkpoint. Could anyone give me a real world example in which I would have to manually add a static route entry in the box ?

Thank you!
Robori.

Default Re: Static Routing Question

depends on your setup, e.g. if the def gw of your network is the gw itself and you have internal networks that are behind other routers somewhere inside you would have to route those networks to those routers, no big deal
it depends on your needs to the environment, some need routes, others not
