Can anyone explain to me what are the differences between physical and logical addressing?

Depends on the context.

Probably it's referring to L2 - MAC addresses - as physical addressing - i.e. addresses of hardware that you can't change (actually you can, but most people don't) vs L3 - IP addresses - which are configured by you, and are done to logically break up your network.

You might also see references to physical vs. logical when referring to VLANs - i.e. multiple logical interfaces on one physical interface.
