| I have servers of, sun platform T2000 with Solaris 10 OS. I intend to install NGX R60 and R65 on them. (stand alone mode) have all the packages and patches as written in the release notes. the servers have no CD/DVD so they install from packages. say that variabels were not initialized. So I write them manually. the network interfaces I have are: e1000g I was successful install R65 on T2000, but only after manual copy /opt/CPsuite-R65/fw1/state/default.bin file, manual initialize Check Point variabels and write e1000g accept in /etc/fw.boot/ifdev file. error when install R60: Installing VPN-1 ^ FireWall-1 kernel module... | I have always had problems when installing not using the CD. I would suggest maybe an exeternal USB CD drive may be your best bet. That is how I install SPLAT on servers that I don't want to have CD's installed in for. |

| Hi there, I always use this, works a treat: mount -F hsfs -o ro `lofiadm -a /var/tmp/checkpoint.iso` /mnt Just make an ISO of the CD/DVD and copy it on then it uses loopback adm to mount the image as a device. |
