Default Merging management-stations

Is it possible to merge two management stations into one?

What I mean by this question: We're using a management-HA that is running R55 and managing a mixture of FP2 and R55 modules. Now we're planning to deploy a VSX-cluster, but this R55-management isn't upgradable to R55-VSX. The solution would be, to upgrade the management to R61 with VSX and just deploy the VSX-cluster. The problem that we're having with this solution, is that NGX R61 can't manage FP2-modules. SO we're kinda stuck with this R55-install untill all modules are upgraded to R55. We're in the preparation-phase of upgrading these FP2-modules, but the timetable isn't matching with the upcoming VSX-deployment.

Now, our probably best interim-solution would be to install a separate management for just this VSX-deployment, upgrade all the FP2-modules to R55 (without the timepressure of the VSX-cluster installation), upgrade the management to NGX R61 and somehow merge the interim management with the "real" management.

Does anyone know if this would be possible (with a database-merge or something like that)?

cp_conf_merge used to be able to do this sort of stuff, but I'm not sure how well it is supported. You might want to look into that.

If you don't have too many rules, ofiller/odumper can help.
