Hi all,

Sorry for a lame question, how to identify which one is the Parent name of SUN 1GB quardcard as show below?

bash-2.05# grep ce /etc/path_to_inst
"/pci@8,700000/pci@2/pci@0/network@0" 0 "ce"
"/pci@8,700000/pci@2/pci@0/network@1" 1 "ce"
"/pci@8,700000/pci@2/pci@4/network@2" 2 "ce"
"/pci@8,700000/pci@2/pci@4/network@3" 3 "ce"

Is it the pci@8,700000 ? or /pci@8,700000/pci@2/pci@0/ ?

What is it exacly you want to know?
Can you give me the server type and quad card number?

Hi,

Am trying to configure a SUN 1GB GigaSwift Quadcard on our SUN V280R. If I want to use it, I have to configure in ce.conf file. But I'm not sure the "parent" name for the quadcard.
