Default SNX With Connectra Timing Out on Some PCs

I have SNX and Connectra R62 with Integrity Clientless running and for most of our PCs it works fine. For a minority of the PCs, I receive a message that the "Network Extender is taking too long to connect." Curiously enough, the tunnel is up and running as long as you do not "OK" or close that dialog box. If you do "Okay" the message or click the X to close, the tunnel collapses. If you ignore the message everything works as expected. I do not see anything on the logs at the SmartCenter to indicate a problem.

This happens only on certain PCs. I have had two seemingly identical PCs and one will be affected and one will not. The problem follows the PC, not the user or the remote network. I have been digging for a solution for months. Has anyone else seen this and/or solved it?

Thanks,
RiverStone

Default Re: SNX With Connectra Timing Out on Some PCs

I had a handful of these. If the timeout occurs within a minute I noticed the following fixed the issue:

Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools | Internet Options |Connections | LAN Settings
Uncheck "Automatically Detect Settings" if it is selected
