Default fwlogsum on switched logs

Hi, I'm trying to use fwlogsum on a switched log without a great deal of success.
If I use fwm logexport on the active log I can run fwlogsum against the output file and get a report fine.

If I 'switch active log' from Smartview tracker I get 5 files created including a .txt file. When I try running logsum against the .txt file I do not get any information within the report.......Can you use logsum against archived switched logs and if so how???

Appreciate any help, thanks.

late reply but here's the fwm logexport syntax
-will take some time depending on the log size

fwm logexport -i <input file name> -o <outputfilname.log>

i.e.

fwm logexport -i <2005-10-08_000001_15.log> -o <test.log>
