Default Logs fail to appear in Tracker

I have a problem with the logs generated by a Nokia appliance not being sent to the managment server running R55 HFA_13.

A snoop of traffic on the managment server shows that it is recieving connections from the appliance on the log port, and a fw fetchlog on archived logs sucessfully gets to the smart view tracker. This can be then viewed by opening seperatly, however they are not appearing in the active log. This managment server also looks after another appliance which has its logs working correctly.

The connection between the managment server and appliance has been ruled out as a probable cause and it is efectivly a direct connection through a switch.

I have re-installed CP on the appliance as well as re-making the network object within CP without any sucess.

This seems to be a problem a few people have come up against without a real defined solution. Grateful of any assistance that could be provided.

Thanks in Advance

Default Re: Logs fail to appear in Tracker

I had the same problem.
My mngt server which is also my logserver has two NIC's. One connected to the firewall mngt segment, and one connected to the LAN.
In smartdashboard the object for this mngt server was registered with the LAN IP address with the FW mngt address in the topology table. When i changed this around (LAN in topology table and FW mngt address used in the object) logging came in like a river.

Hope this helps!
