Default gateway Up down after change IP

Hi All,

I did change main IP for my firewall yesterday. it is the external IP for internet, also for smartcenter to manages and monitor.

So far nearly everything looks fine. The only problem is the smartview monitor still look the old ip to query. But it also look for the new IP. So from the email alert i get a lot of email say the gateway disconnected and connect back, keep doing such a thing.

I confirm using smartview tracker and tcpdump in smartcenter that my smartcenter still trying to query the old ip.
How can i make my smartcenter only refer to new ip. All setting look already refer to the new IP.
Any setting i need to change?

Anakalem,

Did you install the policy? Also try to Install Database to the SCS.

Hi

Yes, i have installed policy and database. Eveything works normal beside this smartcenter problem. Do i have to restart the smartcenter?

It probably will do the trick to reboot, but I think it will just resolve itself given time.
